In the second quarter of 2024, the Business Finance & Solutions category saw varied performance among the top applications on the unified platform. Here are the insights from Sensor Tower on the performance of these applications.
SumUp: Payments and POS experienced a fluctuation in downloads starting with 36K in the first week of April and peaking at 91K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, growing from 551K to 680K over the same period.
PayPal Business downloads began at 46K and saw a peak of 66K in mid-June, but ended the quarter at a lower point of 27K. Active user numbers ranged from a high of 324K in late April to a low of 278K by mid-May, finishing the quarter with 282K active users.
For ADP Mobile Solutions, downloads stayed relatively modest, with 22K at the start of the quarter and ending with 19K. Weekly active users saw a peak of 207K in mid-June, but ended the quarter slightly down at 177K.
Stripe Dashboard had a consistent number of downloads, starting and ending the quarter around the 20K mark, with a dip to 7K in the third week of May. Weekly active users saw a slight increase overall, from 75K to 78K.
Lastly, Revolut Business had the lowest download numbers among the apps, starting at 12K and dropping to 1K by the end of June. Active users showed a gradual increase from 57K to a peak of 72K in early June before falling to 59K.
